AIS and Racon might be removed from buoys. Lights and beacons might be covered with snow and ice. Mariners are advised to navigate with great caution.<\/p>\n\n<p>Travelling on fast ice on foot, by vehicles or by any other means may be dangerous as ice strength can vary greatly. <strong>Travelling on frozen reservoirs is particularly dangerous<\/strong> because changing water levels may weaken the ice and create voids hidden beneath the ice.
